Reasons To Attend Chamber Functions
Your competition will probably be there wooing your clients and prospects, shouldn’t you?
Door prizes don’t just walk themselves home – somebody’s got to win them.
There’s always some juicy piece of news working it’s way around the room
It’s “people-watching” at its best.
You automatically have something in common with everyone else: Chamber membership.
Business cards come in boxes of 500, how else do you hope to get through them before your next title change, extension change, etc.
With all the demands on your time, isn’t it great to attend something and leave without more work to do?
You get credit for doing something fun.
You’ll never walk into a room full of strangers; you are sure to know someone.
You can grill board members about the Chamber and have fun trying to get them all worked up.
With all the stress you face everyday, isn’t it comforting to talk to others facing the same thing?
Help Keep Us Informed
Many people think that the Chamber has all the information about local activities and events. Although we would like to believe this to be true……, we often do not have the information. Many groups and organizations plan great events and projects but they do not let the Chamber office know about them. Communication throughout the community is key to the success of any event. Knowing what is happening in your own backyard is important to your business as well. The more familiar you are with community events and other businesses and the key services they offer, the better you can serve your customers. Remember to get your information to the Chamber if you have a service to offer or an upcoming event. Thank you!!
